We have created a program for you to explore new heights and connect with battle buddies who share many of your experiences. A Soldier's Home (ASH) is a support group utilizing our resources, combined life experience, and music to aid veterans.

U.S. veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can utilize music services at Dream House Studios.  Research supports the effectiveness of music and music therapy addressing:

-Social and Emotional Functioning

-Cognitive Skills

-Verbal/Non-verbal communication

-Fine Motor Skills

-Sensory Processing and Perception


Vets can enroll in weekly 30 minute or 60 minute sessions.  Sessions are dedicated on the veteran's musical preference; whether it's vocal or instrumental.  Vocal sessions can be any genre of music and also includes spoken word and poetry.  For instrumental sessions veterans must bring in their instrument(s) of choice.  Apart from weekly sessions, veterans are encouraged to attend our monthly group meeting.

  • Do I have to know how to sing or play an instrument to participate in this program?
    No, you do not have to have any musical experience to participate in this music program.
  • Who is a good candidate for ASH?
    A candidate would be anyone who shows an interest in music and is willing to engage with other veterans/servicemembers about their experiences.
  • How much does it cost?
    The ASH music program is sponsored by Dream House Studios. There is no fee to join. All weekly recording and music production sessions are free. Mixing and Mastering services will be given a 20% discount.
  • How long does it last?
    Vets can choose to sign up for 30 minute or 60 minute weekly sessions, depending upon need and availability. No long term contracts are required and veterans may choose to discontinue services at anytime.
  • Do you give instrumental lessons?
    At this time we do not give instrumental lessons. Veterans are encouraged to bring any instrument they are already famaliar with to record.
